Nutritional Garden Development training for Rural Poor Women by ARM, Baliapal
Kitchen Garden Development training for 300 Rural Poor Women has been organized by ARM ,Baliapal in 5 batches of one day each from 15th-19th February 2009.The objective of the training programme to enhance the knowledge of rural women on modern eco friendly kitchen garden development techniques. Mr. Sunil Kumar Pila, Horticulturist, Baliapal facilitated the programme.
During the training all participants have learned various tips related to nutritional garden, use of HYV seeds, watering, use of vermin compost and various schemes available in the Horticulture department, Govt. of Orissa .ARM distributed 300 packets of kitchen garden seeds to all 300 participants during the training for demonstration in the field.
