FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION AT DEVKUMAR VILLAGE UNDER NRHM
Focus Group discussion on SHG’s participation in Primary Health Care & Management has been held on 22nd December 2009 at Devkumar Village of the operational area of PHC, Paschimbad.The participants were Anganwadi Workers ASHA Workers, SHG leaders and resource persons. The specific issues that came under discussion were:-
• The understanding of Primary Health Care by SHG Members
• Maternal Health & Neonatal Health
• Services available through local PHC
• Role of various stakeholders on community health.
